Feel Good Friday: My Girls

Feel Good Friday is a great way to end a busy week! Here's what to do:
  • Just make a list. List 5 things that made you really happy this week. No matter how bad or boring you think your week was, I bet you can find 5 things.

  • Write about something that happened to you this week that really made you smile. Was it your child, husband, or maybe a complete stranger did to you?

  • Write about something that YOU did for someone else that really made them happy or laugh.

  • Is there something you treasure so much that every single time you look at it, it brings you happiness? Post a pic and tell everyone about it.

  • Having a hard week and can't find one good thing about it? Well then, what is your happy place? What do you think of that makes you happy? A past vacation? A childhood memory? We want to know!
Today I'm feeling good about my daughters! My oldest just made it back from Texas where she was visiting her BFF from high school. My daughter was on her Spring Break. She took a flight that had 2 layovers (there & back) and it was her first time flying alone. I was so stressed out! I LOVE my daughter, but regardless of how book smart she is, common sense isn't her forte! Praise God she made each of her connections and had a great time with her BFF. She got back to her dorm room yesterday, safe and sound!

This pic was taken in 2002 of the girls!

For my 2nd daughter I'm so excited for her because she and her BFF are in the cities at the BPA State Competition! Their team came in 1st place at Regionals and she came in 5th place for her individual competition. If they win the team competition or if she comes in the top 3 (I think) for her individual competition, they/she head to Californial for Nationals!! I'm praying they are doing awesome in their competitions and that she's having a great time with her friends. *UPDATE The team came in 1st place and my Smoochie was in the top 10 for her individual competition!! California, here they come!!!

I am glad your daughter is home safe! The first time I flew it was to Texas and I was alone as well! I was 21.

There was dificulty with the plane and we had to get off for an hour and my mom was dying! She was so scared I was going to crash!

THank you for doing FGF again!! I am so glad you like it.
