Red Skelton's Explanation of The Pledge of Allegiance

I pray that you have a happy and safe Independence Day.

My utmost gratitude to those who serve our country to help keep it free!

It looks like some have gotten their way and called it a prayer and gotten it rejected from schools. What a shame! It's the most beautiful commitment a person can make to his/her country which only God created. Thank you for posting!

That is a classic, Mimi, and I appreciate you reminding us of it by posting. I always watched Red Skelton when I was growing up, even got to see him in person once. I don't think anyone will ever compare to his humor, integrity and wisdom.
