Brrrr....I never understood ice fishing, I guess you have to love fishing enough to sit on frozen water!lol
that reminds me of that television show where the big rigs drive across the frozen lakes that is just crazy lol
Wow! look at that! very cool!
That's popular here too. I always wonder how they can grab such big fish through suck little holes.
That looks really cold!
I actually <3 Ice fishing, but only if i'm in an ice house - and I don't have to bait my hook, or remove the fish, or filet the fish, or for that matter - eat the fish. (ew)! But! I love holding a pole and watching/waiting to see if there are going to be any fish coming :)I too, am way too scared to drive on the ice.
Wow! That looks chilly! I'm a Florida girl...I've never even heard of ice fishing :)Thanks for the linky! Happy Wednesday to you!
Ice fishing and me don't mix, but at least they all seem to like it!
i love your template... and thanks for the linky... missing snow in my part of the world!
I live in Michigan and that's what the lakes around here look like. My dad fishes year round... I hate it. And in the winter it's just to damn cold!
Oh my gosh, I would be WAY to scared to drive out on that lake!
I've never seen such a site. Thanks for sharing!
Brrr - I don't see how you can willingly be outside in that. It looks painful to me! www.texastypeamom.com
How fun to see all the little huts on the lake! Have you ever tried ice fishing? I'm not a very patient fisher let alone sitting and doing it a cold hut on the ice... No thanks!
I used to ice fish w/ my Grandpa all the time. The ice is scary, and it's FREEZING! Leland's family ice fish a lot and always want us to come. No thanks!
Great photos! I can't wrap my head around ice fishing yet. I've just moved to NH from LA and this is quite odd to me. I saw a snowmobile on the frozen river the other night and still haven't gotten over that. So much for me to learn. :)
Incredibly, beautiful, spacious snow pictures. Thanks for sharing Mimi; just an amazing sight!
How cool! I have never seen ice houses before.
I don't think I could do this.
