Wordless Wednesday: The Storm

No one really seems to be escaping the bad weather lately. We haven’t had much of a summer, winter lasted into May and now we’re heading toward summer. My boys and I were talking and we agreed that if feels more like Spring Break than Summer Break in a couple weeks. June is the worst month for tornadoes here in MN. Here’s what the sky looked like during my 9pm break at work last Saturday and then on my way home (from my cell phone).

Both taken at the same time just in opposite directions!

Looking towards home:
Looking towards the cities:
Not a break in the clouds, it's lightening

On my way home:Make sure you visit these other Wordless Wednesday participants also Carrie with Children, Project Alicia, and My Wee View.

That is nuts! We had a ton of storms up here but nothing that fierce. Such a shame about all the tornadoes. :( Glad you were out of harms way!

Happy WW!

It has been crazy over here on the East Coast also. This past Winter we were buried in snow. Now rain for most of April and May. Just have to wait and see what is next.

Those are crazy bad clouds! I'm here in KS and have escaped the really bad stuff so far.....I hope the worst is over, but I know deep down that we have like 3 more months of "tornado season"

Eeks, I didn't know MN got many tornadoes! I don't recall any when I lived there, but now they seem to be cropping up just about everywhere. :(
