Wordless Wednesday(not so wordless) ~ #Footloose

Today I had the wonderful privilege of meeting Julianne Hough, Kenny Wormald, and Craig Brewer. I thought I’d be some ridiculously crazy school girl, but the setting was small and they sat at a table with us. First we saw Julianne & Kenny. They were so down to earth and easy to chat with.IMG_8522Next was Craig. I have to share a wee little story. I was on Twitter last week after I came home from the preview of Footloose. I can’t share the review until it comes out Oct 14 and was just bursting at the seams on Twitter. Well, this guy, @MyBrewTube makes a few comments to me. I chat with him, but I’m pretty cynical. He says he directed it. Ya, and I’m the Queen of Sheba. So I figure I’ll find out that it wasn’t him at this meeting.

While I’m waiting with the other people there, I tweet out we’re waiting to see the actors and then add in (amusingly) that I have to go to the bathroom.IMG_8523In comes Craig. Don’t exactly recognize him in comparison to the Twitter avatar. He looked at me like he recognized me, but it was just a flicker of a moment. They introduced all the way around and he kind of said my name at the same time as our PR gal, Kelli. I just glanced at him.

My first question before we’re all seated is, “Are you on Twitter?”

Him, “Yes.”

Me, “So that was you I was talking to the other day?”

Him, “Yes, do you still have to go to the bathroom?”

I nearly died and the guy who was sitting next to me says incredulously, “you tweeted that?” Oh ya I sure did. I was being silly.

As we were all heading out to collect our vehicles, there was Kenny in the lobby of the hotel. My first thought was, photo op! I asked and he agreed. Such a nice guy.

IMG_8524Almost didn’t recognize him with his hat turned around. Julianne when she left the hotel never in a gazillion years would I have realized it was her.

As a side note, I had a total “fan” moment when Kenny agreed to take photos with us. You won’t see it, but I came unglued on the inside and ladies…he smelled great. LOL Just something I noticed. (insert school girl giggle)

So, now that I’ve purged all of that, make sure you visit these Wordless Wednesday participants, too:

Are they redoing the movie??? How did I not know this? Footloose was actually the last play I saw on Broadway before I moved south. It was so much fun!
