Wordless Wednesday: Tomatoes

My co-worker and I have been exchanging tomatoes the last couple of weeks. She has awesome, eat them like candy, cherry tomatoes and I have a great crop of full sized tomatoes. She and I both love making toasted tomato sandwiches. I add avocado to mine. Cracked me up when she told me it takes 8 baby tomatoes to make her sandwiches. I’m trying to supply her with large ones so she can have a proper one!

You got so many! Yum! We normally too but the squirrels, chipmunks, and rabbits took all ours along with our summer squash and cukes!

I'm not a tomato fan, but the rest of my family is. Gary grew up with toasted tomato sandwiches and he's got our kids hooked on them now too! :) Of course, none are as good as the ones with fresh tomatoes from the garden... Yours are looking great!

Those look so good! We've gotten a bunch on our plants, but I have no idea what they taste like. The younger kids eat them before they're fully ripe, so I haven't gotten any yet! lol

Yes, that would be kind of a pain to have to cut up eight little ones to make sandwich!

Beautiful! I love cherry tomatoes! I have a freezer full of full sized tomatoes I put up two weeks ago. I use them in my homemade spaghetti sauce!
