Chamilia: A “charming” Bracelet Holiday Gift Guide Review

2012 Holiday Gift Guide, 2012 Holiday Gift Guide brought to you by Coping with Frugality, MI Savings Mama, Mom Mart, The More The Merrier, and Woven By Words.
I’m not someone who wears a lot of jewelry. I’m a very simple gal. But lately, I’ve been trying to be more feminine and I have to admit, jewelry does add to that feeling!

I have a couple of pieces that are my favorites. One is a necklace my oldest daughter gave me years and years ago. It’s a simple silver chain with a flower charm. The other is a heart shaped necklace that was given to me by my twitter friends for my birthday this past summer.

So, as you can see, the pieces that mean the most to me are the ones that are personal. That’s where Chamilia comes in.

They have a wide selection of charms that scream “personal” and beautiful. Their bracelet selection is just as gorgeous and well worth the investment.

To start off with, I received the Silver Snap Bracelet. It’s unique in that, you have to unsnap the charm to undo the bracelet. I love the security of knowing the bracelet isn’t just going to come undone while I’m wearing it. The bracelet itself is slim and sleek!

Then, oh then the fun started. Ok, there may have been a bit of pain involved because there is a plethora of choices when it comes to the charms. I knew that I wanted something to do with my kids, but what? How could I encompass them all in just one bead…for now?

I finally found the perfect bead to start off my bracelet. It’s the Children Are A Blessing Treasure Bead. What makes this one even more special is that the message is hidden inside the bead. You can actually open the bead to read it! Yes, it’s small, but it’s readable. I love the design on the outside as well!
I think this bracelet will be my “sentiment” bracelet that will include beads about the ones I love. There are some really neat beads that you can wear singly as a set or separate them to share with someone else (or wear separately on the same bracelet).

There are literally hundreds of different ways and themes you can use for these bracelets, especially as a gift. You could give them to a grandparent, a new mom, a sister, a friend. The list goes on and on. My plan is to have this started and to add one here and there until I have to move to another bracelet and a new theme. =)
I know you can’t see it very well because of the flash of my camera so here’s what it looks like up close:
Chamilia Charm
When you receive your package in the mail, it comes in a pretty, green drawstring bag and with an envelope that includes your receipt. It’s not just tossed haphazardly into the shipping package. It shows the date and a name of someone who inspected it! There’s also an email address if you need to contact them! You also receive a green gift bag just in case you’re giving the bracelet/charm to someone else!

Love this bracelet! I've always wanted to have a charm bracelet, and I think one like this would be perfect. I might need to give the hubby a little hint about this. ;-)
