I personally, don't love walking machines or stationary bikes (they all have TV's attached now, so you can be entertained while being bored.) I highly recommend classes. I like Zumba--which is aerobic dance and I enjoy a stretch-flex Yoga. Pool swim aerobics are a great starter exercise, but hard to come by.
