DownLite Comforter Review: Graduation Week

downlite_logo One of the items that are an obvious “Must” for kids heading off to college is finding the right size bedding. Dorm beds require Twin XL sheets and same goes for the rest of the bedding. DownLite has a fantastic selection of bedding, and it will fit a dorm bed as well!

We received the 3 Piece White Down Bedding for my daughter who’s a Sophomore at her college this year to try out. Here’s what’s included:

3 Piece Down Bedding Set Information:

  • 1 Comforter ( 300 TC, 68 x 88, Damask Cotton, 30 Oz. Hypoallergenic Down)
  • 2 Bed Pillows (300 TC, 20 x 26, 16 Oz. Hypoallergenic)
  • Hypoallergenic White Duck Down
  • Easy Care Machine Washable & Dryable
  • Made In The USA

This was the perfect size for her bed and extra pillows are a must at the dorm w/ people dropping by to stay overnight or friends hanging out for a little while to lay on. There are very comfortable and what’s fantastic about it, as it says above, it’s Machine washable & dryable. Simplicity is the way to go when you’re a college student.IMG_5777If you aren’t sure what the mattresses are like where your student is heading off to, you may want to consider investing in a Mattress Pad. I know some dorms can have mattresses that make you think of summer camp. You honestly want to have your kid sleeping well while at school with all the hard work and late nights they have to put in.

DownLite also carries a nice selection of dorm sheets, dust ruffles and pillows.

They’ll ship directly to your college student’s dorm so you don’t have to worry about having to turn around and reship it to them. Another perk on their site is the YouTube video that shows you how to “Wash your pillow” or “Wash your comforter”. Good idea for those college students just learning to do their own laundry!

You can also find DownLite on Facebook and Twitter.
