Kung Fu Panda 2 Review

A couple of Saturdays ago, the boys and I went to see Kung Fu Panda 2 thanks to a local PR company. What I didn't realize was the movie in 3D. I have to admit I wasn't super thrilled only because of my past experiences with 3D movies. You know what I'm talking about. You wear these glasses to watch a movie that have a few 3D moments that are less than brilliant. Nothing spectacular, right?

Let me say for the record that the 3D animation in Kung Fu Panda 2 are phenomenal and run throughout the entire movie. From the moment it starts you will be riveted to the screen. The boys and I kept looking at each other during the movie with the look of, "Can you believe how amazing this movie is?" I think if I knew all the terminology I could probably talk about the animation all day.

When I watch animated movies I look at them from a very critical stand point. I have high expectations when it comes to childrens movies. I want them to geared towards my kids and not have adult themes intertwined. That said this is a fantastic kids movie that adults can totally enjoy.

Everyone in the theater was laughing at the same points. There were a few parts I thought we were all going to start clapping. If you like action packed, kick butt movies this one is it! I want to go back to watch it again because there was so much to see. This may be one of my favorite animated movies.
