Birthday Book Giveaway Day 2

Alrighty, on to day 2 of the giveaways! I'd like to start by congratulating Christine. She won the books from day 1! The next set of books are:

Scrapping Plans by Rebecca Seitz and Talking to the Dead by Bonnie Grove. To read my reviews of these books, click on the title and you'll also be able to read the FIRST chapter!

If you'd like a chance to win this set of books, tell me what book you've read in the last 3 months that you've enjoyed the most and would recommend to others.

My favorite book, gosh I don't know if I can pick. I didn't realize how many books I'd read in the last couple months. I guess I'd pick Tracie Peterson's Brides of Gallatin County series. I've always enjoyed Tracie's books whether she's writing on her own or with another author.

So, you know the drill. Leave your email address so I can contact you if you win. If you'd like an extra chance to win Tuesdays books, put my "button" with a link to today's giveaway on your blog. Leave me a comment letting me know you've done so and you'll get an extra one day entry. If you'd like to be entered all week with an extra entry for each day aside from your daily comment, put a post on your blog about my Birthday week giveaway. :) You have until 9pm to leave me a comment.

The book I've read and would recommend is 'Adam' by Ted Dekker. It's about and abduction, a profiler named Daniel, a psychotic killer, and 'Eve.' You will learn things spiritual about abductions. It's written in a way I've never read before. Please enter me for the items up for giveaways. Thank you.

Since I don't have a large (understatement) following on my blog, I put it on facebook via http://www.facebook.com/LAW51?ref=name instead. Will that count for extra entries?

I'm going to list two good reads because they're in different genres: Elvis Takes a Back Seat by Leanna Ellis and Directed Verdict by Randy Singer. These were new authors to me and I plan on reading more of their books.

Thank you so much for the giveaway.

The Face - Angela Hunt: Absolutely great read, don't want to give to much away..and there are no words to describe how much the story mirrored what Christ did for us, and what it did for me in the reading of it. I was shedding tears from chapter 57 until the very end of the story. Beautifully written, a real blessing. For those of you who haven't read this yet...Don't walk, RUN to your nearest bookstore or webstore and get it. God has given her a special gift for reaching into the hearts and spirits of your readers. This would make a really wonderful movie.

Less Than Dead - Tim Downs
This is part of his series "A Bug Man Novel". I have read everyone of his books. The Bug Man is a forensic entomologist, a great character. It is definitely a mystery that is anything but dead, with desperate killers, cadaver dogs, a little romance, some humor and thrills Something like a CSI or Bones (TV) script. Fast read, I couldn't put it down. I look forward to each book as it comes out.
