Birthday Book Giveaway Final Day

Today is the last day of my Birthday Week celebration. The last 2 books I'm going to be giving away are non-fiction. The first is "mom NEEDS chocolate" by Debora M. Coty (click the title to see the review of this book). The second book is "The Friends We Keep: A Woman's Quest for the Soul of Friendship" by Sarah Zacharias Davis. Even if these aren't books you might be interested in, they'd make great gift books!

To win the final Giveaway, tell me your favorite chocolate or one of the friendships that means the most to you.

I'll give you an answer for chocolate. Lindor Truffles chocolate is the best I've ever had! Those big round balls of chocolate, who can pass them up? My daughters love them, too. Wish they were under $3 for the little bag. I see at their website they even have raspberry & mint!!! UGH, to die for.

To enter to win today's books, leave a comment with your email address so I can contact you if you win. US residents only at this time. Thank you so much. I've had a great week giving away all these books! It's hard doing these giveaways because I can't choose everyone. I want everyone to know how much I appreciate the time everyone spent leaving comments here. I wish I had a book to give to all my commenters. You are precious to me! Thanks for spending the week celebrating my 40th Birthday online!!

So what did you do for yourself for your birthday? You've been giving books out, but what did you do for you?

My favorite chocolate would be some Belgium truffles a Dr. gave my hubbie and me when he messed up on an appt. where my hubbie had to take off work time and had to pay for parking. It didn't pay the price of taking off work or parking, but they were melt in your mouth good. Made us forget for a little while.

I love melt in your mouth chocolate! What a nice way to apologize, too! I could forget a lot of things with good chocolate! :)

I ended up having a surprise party! My friend told me she was coming over to bring me my present. No problem. I was doing my laundry and wasn't concerned about getting dressed from my jammies. Then my dog starts to bark and I see a whole LINE of cars outside. I ran into my room and got dressed so fast!! They brought me a brunch! How crazy is that?! What a blessing that God gives us good friends!

My girlfriend & her family from WA are here visiting family & me. They took me to Perkins. We ate dinner here and watched "Mama Mia". It was a great birthday!

I am blessed beyond measure,
Mimi

This has been quite the birthday bash. Thanks for sharing it with us. I would like to put my name in the hat for The Friends women keep. That sounds very interesting and something I'd like to check out.

Blessings on your special week.

Hi Mimi,
It sounds like you had a lovely birthday. Happy Belated Birthday! My favorite chocolate is made by Coblentz Chocolate a local chocolate maker here in Amish Country Ohio. It is absolute delicious, it is so smooth. My absolute favs are the chocolate covered caramels.

Mimi, like Ruth my favorite chocolates are chocolate covered caramels. Oooey gooey caramels covered with rich milk chocolate. Yum.
Debora M. Coty's book sounds like one I need to read. The part about defeating and redefeating of depression.
Sarah Zacharias Davis's book sounds like a good read also. Friendships are hard to keep, manage and let go of when needed.
I wish you a happy birthday. It sounds like such a grand adventure.

Mimi -

Lindor Truffles are totally my favorite! My m-i-l even got me some for my birthday this month because she knew they were my all time favorites :-) Check out Waldenbooks or B&N, our Waldenbooks carries the mint ones and sometimes the raspberry - yum!

I guess I didn't mention my favorite type of chocolate. I'm not sure I've ever met a chocolate I didn't like, unless it was hanging out with peanut butter!
Thanks again for a fun week!

I have quite a few special "girl" friends but I think the friendship that means the most to me is the one I share with my mom. There are no words to describe it, but I'm so grateful that we're close, close friends...and I love chocolate! Almost any kind!!

I grew up listening Dr. Ravi Zacharias messages and loved the stories he shared about his children. I remember a few very cute and endearing ones about Sarah!! I'd love to be included in your giveaway! Thanks so much...
