Artsy Olive Framed Art Print Review & Giveaway

Are you like me and love giving gifts with a personal touch? They always seem to say you thought about that person a bit more for their gift. I had never heard of Artsy Olive before I was offered a framed art print for review! I was so excited when I saw the samples.

Now, I don't know about you, but do you get sucked into looking at pretty much every, single, design just to find the perfect ONE? I'm pretty sure I looked at every option trying to decide who I was going to receive my sample for and which design fit exactly what I wanted to say to them. As I was clicking through the many options, I came across ones for friends and that's when I knew I was going to get one from my bestie, TP.

It wasn't an easy decision to make. Some sites make shopping SO difficult #IWantAllTheCuteThings! hahahaha Ok, let's chat about the site first of all. Since Artsy Olive is brand new, they have a "how it works" section right at the top. Sheesh, if more sites had something like that it would cut down on so much frustration. They even have a quick video to show you how their art works. The rest of the site is pretty straight forward and allows you to search by a variety of options.

As you get started with your creation(s) you have a choice of size from 7.7"x7.7" all the way up to 13.7"x18.7". My review art was a 7.7"x7.7". After you choose the design you want, you get to choose your frame style or if you already have a frame that you want to use again, you can choose a print only.

Next you get to choose a background if the design comes with the option. It's fun to play around with the different back grounds with different frames. Some of the designs come with different size options as well. If you create an account, you can even save your favorites so they're easy to go back to and order. From there you get to personalize your picture!!

The picture I chose for TP gave me the opportunity to tell her in a paragraph how much she means to me. I picked the True Friend Is Family. Now, I followed the example and after I got the package I realized I probably didn't need to add her last name. hahahaha I suppose it's always there in case either of us forgets it. 😀

The check out was quick and easy. As you're reviewing your order you have the opportunity to change your frame. Thankfully you can review it right in the same line item if you make a change. Heck you can even admire your creation one more time before you make your purchase. HA!

Lugz Boots Review & Giveaway

Oh the weather outside is frightful...but NOT when you're wearing Lugz boots. For real, have you SEEN their boots? I've drooled over them the past couple of years, and this winter I'm finally getting to try out a pair to review and giveaway! I was over the moon when they offered to work with me again. I want to become their poster child btw. ;)

When I got the email from my gal at Lugz, she gave me quite a few options for boots. I made her choose. I just couldn't do it. Saying I wanted them all wouldn't go over well. heh heh heh Thankfully she has a sense of humor. She surprised me with a pair. I decided to do an unboxing on Facebook Live, but sadly the sound was pitiful on my phone. Who knew?!

She sent me the Tambora! They. Are. Heavenly!! First, Lugz has a variety of styles of their boots, but not only that, they have lots of colors! They truly have a boot or shoe for almost any occasion. These boots, I'd like to wear pretty much every day. Is it terrible to wish for snow just so I can wear these boots every single day?

Ok, I know, I'm gushing and you're wondering about them. Here are the deets! It has a cushioned insole, plush faux fur lining, padded tongue, and suede shaft. That's just for starters. I love the feel of them. The Tambora is extremely comfortable with the cushioned insole. They're not clunky, but are surprisingly light. This may sound strange, but they're so soft. Your foot literally slips into them with the faux fur.

Since we go for walks with the dog all the time, something I appreciate with these are the reinforced toe and heel for traction and durability. We're supposed to have some flurries and I'm not worried about walking with Peru. I'll be warm and cozy in my new boots!

I'd have to say, their boots definitely make a statement. How could you not turn an eye with these Rose Gold/White Shifter boots? Aren't they dreamy? I know, I want a pair, too!

Now, let's not leave out the rest of the family. Lugz has boots for everyone! The kids boots are absolutely to die for! My next goal is to get Fred into some boots that he just doesn't wear. Can you imagine what this task will be like? He's one of those guys who thinks he only needs one pair of shoes. He's so silly!

The Berenstain Bears Christmas Fun Sticker & Activity Book Giveaway

My daughter showed up last week, and that girl is ALL about Christmas. She loves it so much, she celebrates half Christmas, and then starts counting down the days starting in August. Have I mentioned she's 25? lol Well, when she saw The Berenstain Bears book sitting on my couch, she squealed in delight! Thank goodness I'm reviewing it. I guess this will be one of her gifts this year.

My Review

I was surprised at how big this book was. I loved it! Each page is framed by a thick Christmas-y design. The Christmas Fun Sticker & Activity Book talks about Christmas in the modern sense and also the birth of Jesus! I love this so much because so many families celebrate with both on their minds. The activities are large, and just the right size for an elementary child.

There's nothing like celebrating the season with the Berenstain Bears. The reusable stickers means they can definitely be played with over and over again. Your children can each have a turn with them, and even their friends can have a go at them. This can be a book that focuses on the days leading up to Christmas or you can even give it as a stocking stuffer. It might be a big stocking stuffer. Maybe leave it for the kids to have as an activity to keep them busy early Christmas morning until everyone is awake.

You can see by the images the size of the book. These are just a couple page spreads to give you an idea of what they look like! Aren't they fantastic? In the photo below, you can see the balance between Christmas and Jesus' birth. Any child will enjoy this book.
