Wordless Wednesday: Tombstones and Spring

One of my favorite things is all of the “old” stuff in Virginia There are so many signs of history here, you can’t miss them. I found a little cemetery driving around town the other day. Amazing to see tombstones from the 1700s!

On top of that, everything is blooming!

I am so jealous! I didn't even think about it before, but did you know Virginia is FULL of ghosts! I would love to visit, and go ghost hunting!

I love old tombstones- I always like trying to come up with the stories behind the people.

I find the old tombstones fascinating... I always wonder how they lived!!

How cool, sometimes we take blank paper and a crayon and rub it on the paper so you can see what the old tomb stones say if they are unreadable!! Its crazy how detailed some of the really old ones are... they sometimes say how they passed.

gorgeous pics. I especially love the white blooms. I too love history and discovering areas. I have yet to take a cemetary tour of New Orleans, but it is on my list of things to see. I am sure your Virginia toombstones were very interesting. Pretty too.
