CampusBookRentals.com Review

logo Do you have a student heading off to college for the first time or heading back for another year? I have both and my girls are going to be trying out CampusBookRentals.com. Even if you live under a rock or have never gone to college, you know text books take a bite out of your wallet.
Thankfully, CampusBookRentals.com has made getting textbook a less costly experience. They’ve made the process a very easy one as well.
Can we start off with my favorite part, which is free shipping…BOTH WAYS? Whenever I do any shopping online, my first thought is, “how much is the shipping going to cost me?” Say your student starts a class and realizes for some reason they need to drop it? Guess what? They have a 30-Day Risk-Free Return policy! That means you’re not out any money.
CampusBookRentals.com bases their rentals on a 130 day semester, 85 day quarter and a 55 day summer schedule. What’s nice, is they understand that students might like their books a week earlier than the start of school and on the other end, might need it to finish up projects or assignment. So, they also have a 15 day grace period.
On their homepage, you can search for your book by categories such as Psychology, Chemistry, and English. You can also search by ISBN, author, and title.
This is PR American Government Power and Purpose Go with the Internet
As you’re going through the process of renting books, on the right side of the page you’ll see the cost of the book and the date it needs to be returned. Remember, if there are supplements, like a CD/DVD, they may not come with the book so you’ll have to make sure this can be found elsewhere.
Before you get started, to get acquainted with how the company works, I’d go to the Help page and scroll through the Q&A. It’s fast and easy to get through. Also, if you have questions, they pride themselves on having great customer service and want to help out with any issues or any needs you would have.
Operation Smile CampusBookRentals.com supports
The children of Operation Smile
We're ecstatic to announce our 2011 Making a Difference Program. We have officially teamed up with Operation Smile, an out of this world, awesome organization, that performs life changing cleft lip surgeries on children whose families could not otherwise afford it. The long term Improvement in quality of life for the children that receive these surgeries is almost incomprehensible. We have committed to donating enough to cover a minimum of 1,000 life changing surgeries. We hope To beat that number, but it's a significant commitment.
So for EVERY book rented starting now, we will donate a portion of those proceeds to Operation Smile with our sights set on meeting and exceeding our goal of 1,000 lives changed. So add that extra book to your cart, and consider this goal as you go back to school this year. Thank you for your support.
Make sure you follow CampusBookRentals.com on Twitter and Facebook! On Facebook, every month 2 people win free text books if you Like them! For every 1000 Likes, they pay for another cleft palate surgery through their partnership with Operation Smile! On Twitter they giveaway free t-shirts, have random giveaways, scholarships, and secret coupons. They’re finding all kinds of ways to save you money!
*I will be receiving a discount for sharing my opinion on this site. The opinions are my own and never influenced by the company.

With the price of college books nearly rivaling the price of the courses themselves, this is a welcome option.
