Open Arms RED Holiday Scarf ~ A Forgiveness, Reconciliation and Love Holiday Gift Guide Giveaway

2012 Holiday Gift Guide, 2012 Holiday Gift Guide brought to you by Coping with Frugality, MI Savings Mama, Mom Mart, The More The Merrier, and Woven By Words.

As you may have read in my first Open Arms post about their skirts, I love this company! For the holidays they wanted to share a Holiday Story about two of their employees:Open Arms logo

There is a Holiday Story unfolding in Austin, TX, that will touch your hearts this season. It’s all about RED: the symbol of love, strength, life, death, courage and vitality. Two refugee women from South Sudan, persecuted for their beliefs. One is Christian, one is Muslim. And they work together at Open Arms.

As you know, our goal this summer was to hire another refugee survivor - and we did!  She is one of the women in this story.

Open Arms’ desire is that the RED scarf would be a symbol of hope this season! They want you to wear this scarf in “recognition of all the women who have faced great suffering and in celebration of the courage it takes to keep moving forward.”

What could be more beautiful?

HolidayRedScarf

If you are looking for some beautiful beautiful skirts or scarves for the holidays, this is a wonderful company to go through! Right now, online ONLY, buy any 2 items, get their Holiday Red Scarf FREE! This will run through the holidays!

Maybe you’re looking to give of your time with some friends this holiday season I would suggest checking with them to see if they have anything available if you’re in the area. You would have the opportunity to work side by side with the “production team and learn more about the backgrounds of the former refugees who make Open Arms products so special”

*I have received no compensation. I just believe in this company!
